What will the apprentice be doing?
We are looking for a hard working, well organised apprentice with lots of initiative, excellent IT skills and a great attitude to become part of our team.
As a Customer Service Administrator, the role after training includes;
- Performing day-to-day operations within the customer service team
- Responding to customer requests in a timely manner via phone and email
- Admin support for External sales team
- Administration on complex quotations
- Responding to customer queries (which include and are not limited to, providing prices to customers)
- Stock checking and delivery updates for customers and sales team
- Creating sales orders via Sage and other ERP systems
- Taking telephone calls
- Assisting all members of the team as and when required
- Ensuring that the policies of the company are observed, and that good practice is encouraged, particularly in the areas of Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, and confidentiality
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the organisation which is relevant to your post within the company to meet the overall business objectives.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Customer Service Specialist apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- Full, on-the-job training will be provided by the employer, with 20% off the job training as a requirement
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- This apprenticeship is delivered in the workplace and 20% of your working time will be dedicated towards training and learning new skills
