With M16 connection thread for higher current loads (50 Hz), e.g. for connecting the ring equipotential bonding system with the earth-termination systems of power installations with nominal AC voltages over 1 kV (transformer earthing).

The connection cable may be connected to other components of the earth-termination system using, e.g. a cross unit (Part No. 318 207/318 209), or to the reinforcement using the corresponding clamps.
