Sean Passant MIET – Technical Manager
Sean started his career in lightning protection in 1987, many, many years later he has worked in just about every role & area possible within the lightning protection, surge protection & earthing industry. He has served as both president & vice-president of ATLAS as well as sitting on the BSI GEL/81 standards committee. He provides all the training & invigilation for the ATLAS accredited designer qualification as well as being a visiting instructor at the CITB National Construction College.
Robin Earl – Market Development Manager
Robin has over twenty years experience in surge protection & LV distribution. He is currently serving on BS7671 JPEL64 subcommittee D for Surge Protection and Foundation Earthing. He has presented many CPD seminars on Surge Protection and Lightning protection to IET and CIBSE members.
Jon Barnes BEng – Technical Support & Planning Engineer
Jon started his career in lightning protection as an Estimator in 2017 after graduating with a degree of Bachelor of Engineering having followed an approved Honours programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During his time as an estimator he obtained his ALTAS designer accredited (with distinction). He joined DEHN in 2019 and continued his development obtaining his CompEx training certificate.
All DEHNacademy courses are 1 day long. Start time is 9am finish time is 4.30pm. Refreshments and a buffet lunch is provided within the course fee. All candidates receive 12 months FoC access to the DEHNclassroom online resource centre.
