HVI power Conductor

Details

High-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor for maintaining the separation distance from conductive parts according to IEC/EN 62305-3.

Can be used up to an equivalent separation distance s ≤ 90 cm (in air) or s ≤ 180 cm (solid material).

Thus, the following maximum conductor lengths can be realised with one down conductor depending on the class of lightning protection system (LPS):
LPS I max. 11.25 m
LPS II max. 15.0 m
LPS III/IV max. 22.50 m

Lightning current carrying capability of 200 kA (10/350 µs) tested according to EN 62561-1.

The HVI power long Conductor meets the requirements of EN 62561-2.
A processing temperature of -5 to +40 °C and a permanent temperature range (at fixed installation) of -30 up to +70 °C must be observed.

HVI power Conductor pre-assembled for installation outside the tube with one head piece and one connection element (enclosed loose).
Connection kit for installing the HVI power Conductor on HVI power supporting tubes GRP / Al consists of threaded pins, a connection part, heat-shrinkable sleeve and fixing ring with slotted conductor holder (Ø27 mm) for the sealing end (including cable ties).
Minimum order length 6 m, conductor length has to be stated when ordering (in steps of 0.5 m).
