Railway equipotential bonding

The busbar is used wherever multiple earthing conductors or earthing connectors need to be connected to one another – for example, on concrete or steel masts, foundations or lighting/signalling systems.

The core component is the busbar for earthing connectors in accordance with 3 Ebs 15.03.36, a solution approved by DB Netz AG for railway earthing, return circuits and equipotential bonding.

Its robust design in galvanised steel and with six M16 connections enables a permanent connection. Installed in conjunction with a DIBt-approved fixing system in accordance with 4 Ebs 15.01.61, ensuring reliable planning and standard-compliant application in a railway environment.

Railway equipotential bonding bar

Busbar for earthing connectors in accordance with 3 Ebs 15.03.36, design f.

The galvanised steel busbar is used for safely connecting multiple earthing connectors in the field of railway earthing. It is designed for use in earthing, return circuit and equipotential bonding systems in railway installation applications.

The design with six connections (M16) enables reliable connection of multiple earthing conductors at a central consolidation point.

The busbar has technical approval issued by DB Netz AG in accordance with drawing 3 Ebs 15.03.36, design f., and can therefore be used with confidence in railway earthing, return circuits and equipotential bonding applications.

Note:Must be installed in conjunction with a DIBt-approved fixing system (standard heavy-duty anchor) in accordance with 4 Ebs 15.01.61. (DIBt = Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik [German Institute for Building Technology])
