BS EN 62305 has been in circulation for the last two years. On the 31st August 2008 the old BS6651 Lightning Protection Standard was completely withdrawn. BS EN 62305 is now our current standard. The new BS EN 62305 Lightning Protection standard has far reaching implications effecting the design, installation and testing of a Lightning Protection System.
This new standard BSEN62305 replaces BS6651.
