DEHN UK SeminarsSEMINAR INVITATION

Are you ready for the
new amendment 1 sections 443 & 534 of the Wiring Regulations?

We offer a one day essential seminar for anyone involved in Surge & Lightning Protection.

go Overview

DEHN UK SeminarsWith the introduction of surge protection devices (SPDs) into the BS 7671 amendment 1 2011 the standard now recognises the importance of these devices in limiting the effects of not only lightning currents from natural sources, but also switching events from man-made events like the switching of inductive loads and contactors operating.

The damaging effects of surges has long been identified but without a clear set of instructions to deal with them. BS 7671 amendment 1 now has section 534 to deal with the installation of the surge protection devices and section 443 to deal with the risk assessment that would determine if SPDs are required or not in an installation. The DEHN BS 7671 seminars have been designed to take the installer and designer through the process of product selection and installation in accordance with the requirements of the standard.
