Earthing and equipotential bonding for a wind turbine

Here is a possible concept for earthing and equipotential bonding on the foundation.

A - Connecting clamp

Foundation earthing: Connects round and flat conductors in concrete foundations. Connects the reinforcements with round and flat conductors. Tested short-circuit current carrying capacity (50 Hz).

A - Round wire 10 mm St/tZn

Foundation earthing: Conductor material for use in lightning protection and earth-termination systems. Tested to DIN EN 62561-2.

A - Strip 30 x 3.-5 St/tZn

Foundation earthing: Strip material for use in lightning protection and earth-termination systems. Tested to DIN EN 62561-2.

A - Fixed earthing terminal type M V4A

Foundation earthing: Corrosion-resistant connection of the ring earthing.

B - Connection clamp with threaded bolt V4A

Ring earthing: Connection of round and flat V4A conductors to fixed earthing terminals.

B - Cross unit StSt V4A

Ring earthing: Corrosion-resistant connection of the individual ring conductors in V4A.

B - Stainless steel strip V4A

Ring earthing: Corrosion-resistant ring conductor in V4A.

C - Equipotential busbar StSt
